Wow! That's a large area! May I know where exactly were those installed? And is it just me or does those panels look really cool when they're placed all together is such a large area? lol.

Mans Tham’s Solar Serpents in Paradise is such a brilliant idea it makes you wonder why no one had ever thought of it before. Tham has proposed covering L.A.‘s Santa Monica freeway in solar panels that could be used to shade cars and provide power.

China is rapidly building more and more green power plants like solar farms and windmill parks. Perhaps interesting to look at?

I thought this thread was going to be about the "solar road" concept, which sort of draws an 'ugh' response, but this sort of use makes so much sense. We've got a lot of unused area to cover with pv.
