I'm glad I found this site. I live in the Cascade mountains about 5 miles from the edge of the power grid. We try to live a sustainable lifestyle and have had over 5 years of practice.

I have a Civil engineering and IT background so I'm lucky to have some understanding of permaculture, sustainable housing, and power generation.
