Default Zero Street E-Motorcycle

Today at Mussleman Honda Circuit I was able to check out The Zero street Electric Motorcycle.

ZERO MOTORCYCLES ? The Electric Motorcycle Company - Official Site

It was a very nice and attractive bike. Extremely quite, awesome torque and top speed around 55-60mph. I believe the bike starts at $10,000 but there is plenty of rebates that will help lower the price.

Two things I did not like about the bike was it felt very top heavy. The manufacture list weight at 270 pounds but it felt like 400 pounds. Also, the square seat makes it very uncomfortable. You have to sit all the way forward to be comfortable and even being a short guy that was too forward for me.

Range on the bike is around 40-60miles depending on your speed and terrain. Charge time is around 4 hours and input is 110v or 220v.

Power system is lithium ion array 4 kWh (58volts @ 70Ah)

You may view the bike at MussleMan Honda racing Circuit (P1)

Actually, that's their street bike. Of course, the only difference is the tires, as you can see from the pictures. Then again, my money still buys the GPR-S, so maybe I'm not the one whose opinion you should be asking about Zeros.

edit: BTW, why are you wanting to sneak up on deer???

A watt saved is better than a watt generated, since it always costs less than 10% as much, and can cost as little as 1%.

V=volt, A=ampere, Ah=ampere hour, Wh= watt hour, VOC=open circuit voltage, ISC=short circuit current, VMPP=voltage @ max power, IMPP=current @ max power, BTW=by the way, your=belongs to you, you're=you are, too=in addition to, two=1+1, to=towards
