Anyone have an opinion about these two systems? Pegasus has a 680 watt motor and Wilderness has a 500 watt motor. My trek is about 8-9 miles roundtrip with one good sized hill on the way home.

I don't know anything about either but I do have some pusher bikes I built and the 500 watt is pretty good on hills. I would think either would do. Problem might come in the power supply more than the watt of either system.

I have a 250 watt hub motor that does about 6 miles if i pedal a lot on a 24v 12 ah sla battery pack. Don't know if that will help or not. If you about four or five miles and have time to recharge you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Power is 36v via 3-12v sla batteries. This is for both systems.

They say 36volts is a better power system, I personally run all 24volt systems. probably will try a 36volt system on a the hub motor. I have to buy a new controller anyway I might do some research then go for a 36volt one.
